Kruse Scoops Lamb

Level 18

Badeucey

Max Kruse raised on the button and was called by Ben Lamb in the small blind. Lamb drew two cards while Kruse needed three. Two checks followed, after which each player took two cards on the second draw.

Lamb then led out with a bet, which Kruse called. Lamb still drew two on the final draw before Kruse took one.

Lamb checked to Kruse after the draw and the latter put out a bet. Lamb took a good look at his cards and tossed in a call for Kruse to show 86542 for an eight-low and eight-badugi.

Lamb quickly added his cards to the muck as the full pot was shipped to the German.

Lamb Wins With Two Pair

Level 18

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Michael Martinelli made the minimum raise to 20,000 in the hijack and was called by Ben Lamb on the button. Blinds Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu followed suit and a flop of 10Q6 was fanned.

The action checked to Lamb, who made a bet of 45,000. Ivey and Negreanu got out of the way before Martinelli tossed in a call. Lamb then sized up to 130,000 on the 8 turn, and received yet another call.

"I'm likely gonna pot the river," Martinelli stated before the 10 river fell. However, he did not do so as he opted to check instead. Lamb checked behind and Martinelli showed AJ65 for a missed combo draw and two pair, tens and sixes.

Lamb played the better two pair with A865 for tens and eights and raked in the pot as a result.
