Richard Bai

Badeucey

Richard Bai raised under the gun and Robert Mizrachi three-bet from the cutoff. Bai just called, leaving 25,000 chips behind.

Bai drew two while Mizrachi needed only one. Bai's final quarter then flew in as he drew one card. Mizrachi drew one as well, and the players followed the same pattern on the final draw.

Richard Bai: 7642 All in
Robert Mizrachi: 9652

Mizrachi turned over a 3 for a nine-low in addition to his made badugi, and Bai's Q did not give him any part of the pot. He said his byes as he departed in sixth place.

Lamb Takes Some Back

Level 22

Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Ben Lamb raised his button and called the subsequent three-bet by big blind Michael Martinelli. Martinelli then check-called bets from Lamb on the A99 flop and the 2 turn.

He checked again on the 2 river, being faced with another bet from lamb. Martinelli discussed the situation out loud before flashing the table the A and mucking his cards.

Lamb tabled 33 with a smirk on his face, which convinced Martinelli that he was in fact not bluffing.

Martinelli Keeps Climbing, Scoops Lamb

Level 22

Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Michael Martinelli raised in the hijack and Ben Lamb called in the big blind.

Martinelli bet on the 1065 flop and Lamb called. Both players checked the 7 turn.

The river was the 10 and Martinelli bet again. "I have a very good hand. I'm scooping. You would've called already," he told Lamb, who eventually called.

Martinelli turned over A1094 for trip tens and a low and Lamb mucked.

Martinelli raised in the dark the next hand. "He's the real Crazy Mike," Robert Mizrachi said.

"You're definitely my favorite player I've played with at a final table who's a rec. And there's not a close second," Mizrachi added.

Bach Down to Crumbs

Level 22

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

David Bach raised from the hijack and it folded to Michael Martinelli, who three-bet from the big blind. Bach made the call and drew two cards after Martinelli had drawn one.

Martinelli then placed another bet and Bach called. On the second draw, Martinelli stood pat while Bach still needed two.

Another bet followed from Martinelli. Bach took a few moments to think things through, but ultimately made the fold, leaving himself with three big bets.

Martinelli fanned his 8x6x5x4x3x to show Bach that he had made a good fold.

Martinelli and Suzuki Pot Turns

Level 22

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Ryutaro Suzuki raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and was called by Richard Bai in the small blind and Michael Martinelli in the big blind. Bai then led out for 120,000 on the 27J flop and was called only by Martinelli.

The 4 turn slowed down Bai as he checked to his opponent. Martinelli made a pot-sized bet of 445,000, causing Bai to quickly let go of his cards.

Two hands later, Suzuki raised to 60,000 again. This time, Ben Lamb was the only caller, in the small blind.

Lamb called Suzuki's 50,000-chip continuation-bet on the JA9 flop, but folded once Suzuki made it 280,000 to go on the 2 turn.
