Hunichen Busts Another Player

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After raising under the gun to 50,000, Chris Hunichen was facing a three- bet from a player in cutoff for 120,000. Hunichen decided to four-bet all in for the players remaining 100,000, which was called.

Cutoff: 1010
Chris Hunichen: KQ

It was a fair fight with the pair of 10s ahead as we came to a flop that brought the J410 which gave the player in cutoff a set. However, Hunichen was still alive as the flop gave him an open ended straight draw.

Hunichen didn't have to wait long to hit his straight, as the A came right on the turn, to put him in the lead with the Broadway straight.

The river did not pair the board to improve the player in the cutoff, as the 7 officially eliminated him from the tournament, giving Hunichen another bounty.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded around to Dan Shak on the button, who elected to shove all in for roughly 165,000. Raquel Dardon called from the small blind and had Shak covered.

Dan Shak: Q9 All in
Raquel Dardon: AK

The flop of 7K6 offered no help to Shak, who would now need runner-runner to stay alive. The K turn sealed his fate and the 7 completed the board. Dardon's trips awarded her the pot and a bounty.

Branchen More Than Doubles; Eliminates a Player

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

A player from early position moved all in for 64,000. Matt Bond called before Clinton Branchen three-bet all in from the big blind for 240,000. With the action back on Bond, he thought before calling to put two players at risk.

Early position: 44 All in
Clinton Branchen: AJ All in
Matt Bond: 87

The flop Q106 gave both Bond and Branchen a gutshot straight draw. The turn K completed Branchen's straight with the 4 giving the third player in the hand a set, but it wasn't enough as he was eliminated and Branchen doubled through Bond.

Brink Nearly Triples Up

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With the players now officially in the money, a player under the gun raised all in for 25,000. Fredrick Brink followed up in early position three-betting all in for 54,000. It folded around to the button where a player who had both all in stacks covered, decided to make the call.

Under the gun: AJ All in
Fredrick Brink: KQ All in
Button: K10

The under the gun player was ahead, but the K37 flop now put Brink on top. The 9 on the turn made things interesting as the player on the button could now hit a 10 or a club for the double elimination. However, the river 4 bricked out, and Brink was able to scoop the pot worth 149,000.
