Ryan Riess opened to 4,500 from under the gun and got one call from the player on the button. The small blind then three-bet to 17,000. Riess shoved for 90,000 and the caller folded. The small blind called putting the former Main Event champion at risk.
Ryan Riess: K♥K♠
Small blind: A♥Q♥
The pocket pair held on the 10♥6♣3♦2♦9♥ runout and Riess moved up to within touching distance of 200,000 chips.
Players were seen reacting to an exciting runout in a hand involving a full house and a straight flush. Cameras were out flashing pictures of the board and the players recapped what ensued.
On a flop of 9♥8♠7♣, Dan Shahar got it all in versus his opponent, who was at risk.
Opponent: 8♣9♣
Dan Shahar: 7♠10♠
The 9♠ turn gave the at-risk player a full house, however the 6♠ river improved Shahar's hand to a straight flush. Shahar was awarded the pot, a bounty, and a fun memory.
