In the 834th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Kyna England, and Connor Richards come to you from Level 9 in Las Vegas where the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is happening now!
The trio recap the big winners and losers from the Hustler Casino Live (HCL) $1,000,000 Cash Game, show two big hands including a $2.4 million pot and a player mucking the winner in a $534K pot, and share why Alan Keating is good for the game. Plus, Garrett Adelstein sent out a controversial tweet calling out HCL's Ryan Feldman, which spurred both Tom Dwan and Doug Polk to chime in.
Other stories discussed include James Mackey prevailing the WPT Choctaw final table for his second WPT title, Joe Cada & Johnny Chan appearing at a charity event, the legend of John Smith in the $25,000 Heads-Up Championship, and an update on the $25K Fantasy league.
Finally, hear about all the gold bracelet winners thus far from the 2024 WSOP including John Hennigan, who became just the ninth player in history to win seven or more bracelets. Other winners covered include Asher Conniff, Bryce Yockey, Nick Guagenti, and Darius Samual, among others.

As recounted by the players at their table, Remy Bhend opened from under the gun and Stephen Moreschi called from early position.
The flop came 9♠9♥4x and Moreschi called a 50,000 continuation bet from Bhend.
On the J♥ turn, Bhend checked and Moreschi bet the pot and the rest of the chips got in shortly afterwards with Bhend having the covering stack.
Stephen Moreschi: A♠J♣J♠10♣
Remy Bhend: AxAx9x6x
Moreschi had cracked Bhend's aces after making a full house on the turn. He remained ahead on the 2♠ river to score a full double up at Bhend's expense.

There were multiple raises that saw Walter Chambers, Andrew Seabright and Sterling Lopez each putting around 130,000 in the pot before seeing a flop.
Seabright checked on the flop of 8♠5♣Q♣ and Chambers moved all in for over 300,000 as Lopez moved in behind him for less as Seabright folded.
Sterling Lopez: A♠K♣4♣3♣
Walter Chambers: A♣Q♠5♥2♣
The 7♣ turn gave Chambers the nut flush and left Lopez pipped for both the low and the high as the Q♥ river confirmed his elimination.
Elsewhere, Jonathan Dimmig was eliminated.

Jason Stockfish opened to 30,000 from middle position and received a call from Mike Holtz in the small blind before Jonathan Dimmig raised to 120,000 from the big blind. Both opponents made the call.
All three players checked the flop and turn leading to a final board of Q♣4♣2♣K♥7♥. Holtz made a pot-sized bet of 372,000, Dimmig called and Stockfish folded.
Holtz tabled A♣Q♠J♥3♣ for the nut-flush and nut-low and his opponent's hand hit the muck.
"Nice flop" one of Holtz' tablemates commented.
"It was an above-average flop" Holtz agreed as he dragged in a gargantuan pot.
