"Above Average Flop" Sees Stanford Crack Owen's Aces

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
William Stanford
William Stanford

William Stanford opened from under the gun and Adam Owen three-bet to around 200,000 in late position. Stanford four-bet as the action got around and Owen called off with his remaining stack.

Adam Owen: AA44 All in
William Stanford: A1032

The flop landed QKJ to give Stanford broadway and Owen was less than pleased. "Oh, f*** off," he said under his breath before the runout of 2A confirmed his elimination as he missed his spade draw.

"Above average flop," Stanford said as he raked in the pot.

Where's Jeff Platt?

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of J54 and 130,000 in the pot, Anthony Hu checked from the big blind and Mike Holtz bet 100,000 from the cutoff. Hu made the call.

Both players checked the 7 turn leading to the 7 river. Hu checked and Holtz made a pot-sized bet of 330,000. Hu opted to fold.

Holtz told his opponent he'd show him three cards, revealing the A75.

"Where's Jeff Platt? You think I give a f*** if Jeff Platt interviews me?" Holtz joked as he scooped the pot, bringing his stack above two million in the process.

Nogueira Doubles Through Ho

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Maria Ho limped in from under the gun, Kyle Fleischmann limped behind from the small blind and Rafael Nogueira made a pot-sized raise from the big blind. Ho re-shoved, Fleischmann got out of the way and Nogueira, who had started the hand with 121,000, made the call to put himself at risk.

Rafael Nogueira: A882All in
Maria Ho: A752

The board ran out QQ107A. Both players had aces up but Nogueira's eight-kicker played and he scooped the pot.
