Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
David Gonzalez
David Gonzalez

On a board of 39J2, there were around 200,000 chips in the pot when Bin Weng and David Gonzalez sent their chips marching into the middle of the table, which left Weng at risk for his stack of around 400,000.

Bin Weng: AJ All in
David Gonzalez: 22

Weng was drawing stone dead and had no chance to remain in the tournament as the dealer put out an inconsequential 5 to complete the board.

Thomas Squeezes in Small Blind

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A player in early position raised to 13,000, which prompted two players, including the button, behind to call.

With three players in the pot, Aaron Thomas appeared to have other ideas on how to proceed out of the small blind.

Thomas glanced to his right, where Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel sat in the big blind, and then around the table at his opponents.

After a few moments, Thomas three-bet to 76,000.

Seidel folded and was quickly followed by the original raiser and one of the two preflop callers. The player on the button, though, appeared to agonize over his decision. He went in the tank for almost a minute before folding.

The dealer pushed the pot to Thomas, who used the opportunity to flip over one of his cards, the 2, before collecting the chips.

Chris Moorman opened from the small blind to 15,000 and Chander Jain called from the big blind.

Both players saw a flop of 7JQ and Moorman continued with a bet of 11,000. Jain flashed the A before folding, and Moorman was friendly enough to show the Q back to his tablemate.

Rampage Check-Raises River

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river with a board of 6JA82 when Ethan "Rampage" Yau checked his small blind to Alex Foxen in the big blind. Foxen bet 33,000 and Yau went deep into the tank before check-raising to 115,000. Next, it was Foxen's turn to think it over. Foxen eyeballed Yau and his chips before flicking in the call.

Yau exposed A2 for a rivered two pair and Foxen mucked.

Marashlian Slays Saeed

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On the river with the board showing K354J, Omar Saeed moved all in for 78,000 from the button to put the decision on Shant Marashlian in the big blind.

He stewed it over for several moments before he eventually decided to make the call.

Omar Saeed: Q9
Shant Marashlian: K9

Hopkins On the Right Side of a Cooler

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A player in the cutoff opened and Joshua Hopkins three-bet from the small blind to 46,000. The action folded back to the cutoff who four-bet to 80,000, and Hopkins responded with a five-bet to 145,000. After some thinking, the cutoff shoved all in, and Hopkins snap-called his stack of 370,000 chips.

Joshua Hopkins: AA All in
Cutoff: AK

Hopkins didn't need to sweat as he improved to top set on the 102A36 runout to score the full double-up.
