Weishiang Chen moved all in from under the gun for 440,000 and Matthew Rochman called from early position for 340,000. Action folded around to Balakrishna Patur in the cutoff, who re-shoved, covering both Chen and Rochman.
Matthew Rochman: A♦J♣
Weishiang Chen: 4♠4♥
Balakrishna Patur: A♠Q♣
Patur pulled ahead on the 8♣Q♦7♠ flop, pairing his queen. The 9♥ turn and 8♦ river secured him the double knockout and the pot.
All the money got in preflop in a hand between Agustin Naranja in early position and Bujar Percani in middle position. Naranja had 915,000 to start the hand and Percani had him covered.
Agustin Naranja: A♥K♥
Bujar Percani: J♦J♥
The board ran out 6x4x8x8x3x and Percani's pair of jacks held to take down the pot.
Shaun Deeb had a three bet to 400,000 cut out in front of him preflop with less than half that behind. Benjamin Horgan went all in two seats to his left. Deeb took his time as "Payout!" could be heard scattered around the room. After a few more moments, Deeb made the call.
Shaun Deeb: J♠9♠
Benjamin Horgan: Q♠J♦
Horgan was in the lead when hands were tabled, but Deeb needled him, saying, "You don't want to give me chips," implying Horgan shouldn't have put himself in this position.
The flop was clean for Horgan as it rolled A♠2♦4♦. Eyes raised when the 5♠ came and the river made Deeb's flush with the 4♠. Deeb went on to tell Horgan that it wasn't strategically sound to put the more than half a million chips at risk.
Horgan tried to shake off the situation saying, "I'm just going to play my game."
Joshua Zucchet raised to 120,000 from middle position and was called by Shaun Deeb in the small blind.
Action checked through on a A♦J♦7♣ flop.
The turn was the 7♥, Deeb checked and Zucchet wagered 200,000, Deeb made the call.
The river was the 6♦, Deeb checked, Zucchet mentioned he didn't think a bluff would work on Deeb and checked.
Deeb rolled over the A♥3♠ and Joshua Zucchet mucked his cards.
A few hands later there was an under-the-gun open-shove from Aaron Rondon for roughly 960,000. Deeb made the call from the cutoff and had Rondon's stack covered.
Aaron Rondon: A♠J♥
Shaun Deeb: A♦Q♠
The board ran out Q♣9♥5♥8♦10♥ giving Rondon the straight and a much needed double up.
