Five years ago, one of the most infamous incidents in World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event history took place. It happened on Day 1c at Table #317 in the Rio's Pavilion Yellow section in Level 2. That is when the poker world was first introduced to “The Naked Bandit,” who was disqualified after throwing his shoes at the dealer and pulling down his pants.
Between July 24-27, the then-45-year-old Ken Strauss, the man behind the nickname, had similar incidents at multiple other Las Vegas casinos including ARIA, Venetian, Red Rock, and Trump International Hotel, where he was ultimately arrested and subsequently led to him being charged with terroristic threats.

Strauss, who experienced a psychotic break of sorts, was deemed incompetent to stand trial, and after treatment, managed to avoid jail time in a deal with prosecutors that sentenced him to probation.
Under the ruling from District Judge Mary Kay Holthus, Strauss had to undergo mental health treatment, not visit Clark County, or have any contact with Las Vegas casinos for two years.
That was the end of the Naked Bandit, but it was the start of the long road to recovery for Strauss, who recently sat down with PokerNews for an in-depth chat for Mental Health Awareness Month.

Bradley Wolfe was deep in the tank on a board of 2♦6♠9♦9♠Q♦ after he had bet 225,000 out of the small blind. Jason Smith had raised all in from the button for around 900,000 chips. Wolfe apologized to his tablemates for taking so long before eventually putting in the call.
Wolfe turned over 2♣2♠ for a full house. Smith showed A♦6♦ for a flush. With that pot, Smith was sent to the cashier's desk and Wolfe became the new chip leader of the event.

PokerNews reporter Tyler Foran moved all in for his last 170,000 in middle position and received a call from his workmate Lukas Robinson in the cutoff.

The board ran well for Robinson when it came Q♦A♠10♠5♠10♦ and gave Robinson the straight for the win.

Frank Estrade moved all in for 35,000 under the gun. He was called by Bryan Lapham in the seat next to him, Jake Brown on the button and Kelly Money from the big blind.
Lapham bet out 25.000 on the J♦9♥7♠ flop and only Brown made the call.
The 10♦ turn got checked by Lapham and Brown fired out a bet of 50,000. Lapham folded and the cards of Estrade and Brown were revealed.

The 4♥ on the river was not good and Estrade was sent to the rail.

Juan Latuff opened from the button to 50,000 and Lukas Robinson moved all in from the small blind for 380,000. Latuff made the call to put Robinson at risk.

This summer's World Series of Poker (WSOP) action will include over 300 hours of livestreaming coverage on PokerGO.
