The small blind took two and Hale one on the first draw. Hale then bet and his opponent called.

Hale stood pat and bet the second draw, while his opponent called after drawing one. The small blind took one again on the final draw, Hale stood pat, and both players checked.

Hale showed a 10-low which was good enough to win the pot.

Kyte Eliminated

Jon Kyte was in the big blind when Benny Glaser raised from the button. Kyte then three-bet, and Glaser placed a fourth bet. Kyte called and drew two cards. Glaser drew one and bet, which Kyte called. On the next street Kyte again drew two and checked to Glaser who drew one and bet. Kyte called. On the last street, Kyte drew two, Glaser drew one, bet, and Kyte folded, showing 5-5-3-2. Glaser exposed a 3 before dragging the pot.

A few hands later, action picked up when Jon Kyte was already all in from the small blind with 9-6-4-3-2, and his opponent had 8-5-4-3-2

Balan Bets Greenstein Into Submission

Michael Balan raised from the cutoff and was three-bet by Barry Greenstein on the button. Action folded back to Balan who made the call. Both Balan and Greenstein drew two cards, with Balan checking to Greenstein. After Greenstein bet Balan raised and Greenstein made the call.

Balan stood pat on the next street and Greenstein drew two cards. Balan then bet and Greenstein folded.

Heads-up on the second draw, Adam Friedman bet from under the gun before Christopher Roman raised on the button.

Friedman reraised and Roman put in yet another raise. Friedman called and both players stood pat.

Friedman checked to Roman who bet, and Friedman quickly folded.

Despite dropping that pot, the five-time WSOP bracelet winner is still sitting with one of the largest stacks in the room.
