Pocket Eights for the Win

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Amir Lehavot raised to 8,000 from the button and the big blind, Joshua Heinzl, called. On a flop of 247 Heinzl checked and Lehavot made a bet of 15,000. Heinzl looked him up.

Two broadway cards showed up on the turn J and the river Q which both players pondered over for a while but then both of them checked.

Heinzl turned over A4 and Lehavot turned over 88 for the winning hand and a small victory.
