Jorstad and Lodge Face Off

Espen Jorstad was seen knocking out one of his opponents, bringing the table down to the final two players.

Jorstad is now heads-up against Harry Lodge, with both having started with roughly the same amount of chips.

Early on in the heads-up match, Lodge limped in on the button and Jorstad checked.

The flop came 4♣8♦J♦, and Jorstad check-raised to 12,000 over Lodge's bet of 3,000. Lodge called.

The turn landed the 10♥, which went check-check. On the J♠ river, Jorstad bet out 45,000 and Lodge folded.

On the 10♥ river, his opponent checked-called a bet of 30,000, and Hendler tabled K♠Q♠ for two pair, kings and queens.

At one of the tables that were heads up, a player raised to 3,200 on the button, and in the big blind, Tjan Tepeh defended.

The flop rolled out J♥6♦3♦, and Tepeh checked over to his opponent, who bet 3,000. Tepeh called.

Both checked the turn A♥ to the 10♦ river where Tepeh bet 7,000 and his opponent called.

Tepeh turned over Q♦8♦ for a flush, and his opponent mucked. Tepeh now holds a near 8:1 chip lead over his opponent.

Shortly after, his opponent was seen leaving the tournament area, and Tepeh moved on to the tournament's second day.

With roughly 18,000 in the pot, and the board reading J♠9♦5♥8♠, the small blind led out for a bet of 3,400. Mamut raised to 8,000 and the small blind called.

The river brought the 6♥ and action went check-check. The small blind showed K♣9♣ for a pair of nines, but fell to Mamut's K♠J♣, for a pair of jacks.

Onur Unsal was seen dragging in a sizable pot on a board that read A♥2♦6♥3♠J♥, with his hand, 4♦5♦ tabled face up.

He explained to PokerNews that his opponent had JxJx, and that the money went in on the river. Unsal bested his opponent's trips with a straight, and doubled up.
