Shortly after, his opponent was seen leaving the tournament area, and Tepeh moved on to the tournament's second day.

Mamut Chipping Up

Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Nikolai Mamut in the cutoff, and the player in the small blind.

With roughly 18,000 in the pot, and the board reading J958, the small blind led out for a bet of 3,400. Mamut raised to 8,000 and the small blind called.

The river brought the 6 and action went check-check. The small blind showed K9 for a pair of nines, but fell to Mamut's KJ, for a pair of jacks.

He explained to PokerNews that his opponent had JxJx, and that the money went in on the river. Unsal bested his opponent's trips with a straight, and doubled up.

The flop of K102 saw Weisner check over to her opponent who bet 3,000 and Weisner called.

Weisner checked a second time on the turn 5 where her opponent bet 6,000 and once more Weisner called. Both players checked the river.

Weisner tabled 77 for a pair of sevens and it was good as she raked in the pot.
