E-Dog Advances

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The player on the button raised to 6,000 and Erick Lindgren three-bet to 18,000 from the big blind. The button called and the two saw a flop of 288.

Lindgren continued with a bet of 7,000 and the button called. On the Q turn, Lindgren bet 7,000 again and the button moved all in, putting himself at risk. Lindgren quickly made the call.

Button: K9 All in
Erick Lindgren: Q8

Lindgren had his opponent drawing dead, and booked his ticket to Day 2. The meaningless J was dealt on the river to complete the board.

At a nearby table, Dan Sepiol was also seen as the last person standing at his table, also advancing to Day 2.

Ho Hero Calls Potis; Advances Shortly After

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Maria Ho raised to 5,000 on the button, and Anthony Potis called in the big blind.

The flop of 635 saw Potis check over to Ho, who bet 4,000. Potis raised to 13,000, which Ho called.

On the turn 10, Potis continued for 25,000, and Ho called.

Potis sized up to 55,000 on the river Q, and Ho thought for a bit before calling to create the biggest pot of their table.

Potis turned over 97 for a missed straight draw, and Ho turned over 86 for a pair of sixes.

"Great call," Potis said to Ho as the two of them sat at one of the self-proclaimed friendliest tables in the room.

A short while later, Potis' remaining chips were in the middle, and he was eliminated from the tournament, while Ho advanced to the second day.

Potis Finds the Double

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Maria Ho raised all in on the button, and Anthony Potis called from the big blind, putting himself at risk.

Anthony Potis: 43 All in
Maria Ho: A8

Potis got there on the river when the board ran out 22K5A. Potis's straight bested Ho's two pair and he secured the double up to stay alive.

Ho still holds a commanding lead in the heads-up match.
