Hellmuth Dodging Bullets

Level 12 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

The action on this hand was told to PokerNews after the fact:

Phil Hellmuth raised preflop, Warwick Mirzikinian three-bet, and Hellmuth called to see the flop AxKx6x.

Both players checked and they went to the turn 2x, which saw a bet from Hellmuth and a call from Mirzikinian.

The river fell another 2x, pairing the board and Hellmuth bet, Mirzikinian raised, and Hellmuth just called.

Mirzikinian then flipped over AxAx for the top full house and couldn't believe his eyes when Hellmuth rolled over KxKx for the second-best boat.

The table was astonished at how many chips Hellmuth saved during the hand, who then danced a little jig to honor his display of poker prowess.
