The river 5♦ peeled off and Shayesteh bet 3,000 once more. His opponent went into the tank before deciding on a call. Shayesteh tabled Q♠Q♦ and dragged in the pot.
Koray Aldemir raised from the cutoff. Kazuhiro Shirasawa then three bet from the button and Aldemir made the call.
The flop came Q♠6♠2♦ when Aldemir check called a bet from Shirasawa.
Aldemir once again check called a bet from Shirasawa when the 4♣ fell on the turn.
The river was the 4♥, and Aldemir checked for a third time. Shirasawa bet, and Aldemir called. Shirasawa tabled Q♣10♣, a hand that the 2021 Main Event Champion could not beat.
