Prather Chips Up

The cutoff opened the action with a raise to 3,000. John Prather called on the button, the small blind called but the big blind raised to 4,500. All opponents made the call.

Four ways to a 99Q flop and the big blind continued for 1,500. Prather and the small blind called.

The dealer put out the 8 on the turn and action checked to Prather who fired 3,000. Only the small blind called.

Prather bet 3,000 again on the 3 river but the small blind released his hand.

The hijack opened the action with a raise to 3,000. Haran Joo made the call on the button and the big blind completed to close the action.

The flop came down 98J and action checked around.

The 9 peeled off on the turn and Joo fired 3,000 before the big blind raised to 6,000. Joo made the call.

The big blind checked the J river over to Joo who wagered 3,000. The big blind called, and Joo flipped over A9 to drag in the pot.

Deng Scoops with Set

On a multi-way flop of 10J8, Ken Deng bet, then the under-the-gun player raised and another player called along with Deng.

The turn was the 2 and Deng checked, Player 1 bet and Player 2 called but Deng raised. Player 1 called, and Player 2 called for less, putting himself all in.

On the river A, Deng bet and Player 1 hesitated a few seconds before he shook his head and made the call.

Deng then flipped over JJ for a flopped set of jacks which was good to take down the substantial pot and eliminated Player 2.

The river was the 3 the big blind bet and Thorpe called. The big blind tabled 10x8x which was no good. Thorpe's A6 was the superior holding in this hand.

Tate Finds the Right Call

The button raised to 2,400 and both the small blind and Brian Tate in the big blind made the call.

The dealer spread the flop of 102A and Tate led for 1,200 before the button raised to 2,400. Only Tate called.

The 6 turn allowed the button to continue betting, he fired 2,400 and Tate stuck around and flicked in the call.

The button fired 2,400 once more on the 5 river and Tate made the call. The button announced, "One pair' and showed 54. Tate dragged the pot in with Q10.

The flop was 764. Hoch checked, Chan bet and Hoch called.

Action checked through on the 10 turn card.

The river was the Q. Hoch bet and Chan called. Hoch tabled 107 and his two pair was good. He commented that it was nice to win the big blind special.

Mehmood's River Raise Takes It Down

The hijack opened the action with a raise to 2,400 before Omar Mehmood three-bet to 3,600 from the big blind. His opponent made the call.

The flop came down 45Q and Mehmood continued for 1,200 before getting raised to 2,400. He made the call.

The turn 6 hit the felt and the hijack fired 2,400. Mehmood made the call.

The river J allowed the hijack to continue seeking value, wagering 2,400 once more. Mehmood had other plans and raised to 4,800. His opponent flashed AA before mucking.
