McWhorter Puts Pages to the Test
Level 26
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
James McWhorter opened to 180,000 from under the gun and was called by Zeph Pages in the big blind.
The dealer fanned out the J♣Q♦2♠ flop, where Pages checked. McWhorter continued for 180,000 and the call was made.
The 5♥ turn brought another check from Pages before McWhorter announced pot, enough to put Pages all in. After some consideration, Pages made the fold.
