Maguire Ships it with Trip Treys

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action picked up on the river in a hand between Chris Maguire on the button, and the player in the cutoff.

With about 25,000 in the pot and the board reading J83Q2, the cutoff checked and Maguire moved all in.

The cutoff had roughly a pot-sized bet behind, and went into the tank before eventually flicking in the call.

Maguire tabled 33, for three of a kind, threes while the cutoff tabled 1010, for a pair of tens.

Burlacu Rivers a Straight

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

An entire board of 27534 was spread across the felt when Robert Burlacu fired a bet of 20,000 on the river. There were around 30,000 chips in the pot before Burlacu's bet and the player in the cutoff was deep in the tank. After around two minutes of thinking, the cutoff made the call.

Burlacu showed A7 for a rivered straight, and his opponent flipped 99 for an overpair to the board.

Becker Bluffs Into Biles' Full Boat

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Oliver Biles
Oliver Biles

Oliver Biles raised from middle position to 2,400 and Jeremy Becker defended from the big blind.

A flop of AA9 was fanned by the dealer, and Becker check-called a bet of 1,200 from Biles.

An 8 fell on the turn which Becker checked, Biles bet 3,300, and Becker check-raised to 9,500. Biles thought for a while before he made the call.

The Q completed the board and Becker open-shoved for 14,500 effective, and Biles snap-called.

Becker tabled J4 for jack-high but had no chance of making Biles fold as the British player had the nuts with AQ.
