Lazar Doubles Against Hui's Quads

Anthony Lazar doubled up right before the break and relayed the details.

According to Lazar, Phillip Hui raised in early position and Chris Brewer called on the button, while Lazar called in the big blind.

Lazar and Brewer drew two while Hui stood pat and bet. Both players called and Hui patted again, while Brewer and Lazar drew two again.

Hui then bet, Brewer folded, and Lazar raised all in. Hui called and Lazar showed 9x6x5x4x2x. Hui had 7x7x7x3x2x and broke his hand by drawing two, but he ended up drawing another seven as Lazar doubled up.

Rheem Knocks Out Hundley

Chris Hundley was already all in and at risk against Chino Rheem who covered him with one draw remaining. Both players elected to draw one.

Chino Rheem: 8x7x6x3x

Hundley had the better draw but was in bad shape after drawing a 6x to make a pair. Rheem drew a 4x giving him an eight-seven to take the pot while Hundley was sent to the rail.

Negreanu Goes for Thin Value

Action was picked up just before the first draw with two players and about 4,000 in the middle. Ian Johns drew two from the small blind and Daniel Negreanu drew three from the big blind.

After the first draw Johns checked.

"Very thin value" Negreanu commented before betting. "I'm 1.4% better than you". Johns made the call and both players drew two.

Johns check-called another bet from Negreanu after the second draw. Both players drew one.

With no draws remaining Johns checked, Negreanu bet and Johns folded.

Kessler Can't Connect Against Suzuki

Ryutaro Suzuki bet from the hijack on the first draw and Allen Kessler called in the cutoff.

Suzuki stood pat while Kessler drew one. Suzuki then bet and Kessler called.

Suzuki again patted while Kessler drew one. Both players checked and Suzuki showed 9x7x5x4x3x.

"Three one-card draws," Kessler said as he flung his cards into the muck.
