Johns Draws a Wheel to Triple

Ian Johns was already all in on the button as Justin Saliba and Philip Sternheimer built a side pot on the second draw.

Saliba bet from the big blind and Sternheimer called in the small blind. Both players took one, while Johns drew two.

Sternheimer then bet and Saliba folded. Sternheimer showed 8x7x5x4x2x.

"I haven't looked at my last card," Johns said as he turned over 7x5x4x3x. "No bottom. Fifty-fifty," he added before revealing a deuce to make a deuce and earn him a triple up.

"You deserve it. You've played awesome all day. First time I've been happy to lose a pot. I won the side pot, and a good guy got the main pot," Sternheimer said.

Barbero Takes Some More from Kessler After "Quick Warm Up"

Nacho Barbero had folded preflop and mentioned that he was going to do some push-ups to wake himself up, asking his tablemates how many they thought he could do before the hand was over.

"Fifteen to twenty" a spectator said. Barbero proceeded to do no less than 70 push-ups in the span of a couple minutes as the hand progressed before taking his seat.

The very next hand following Barbero's quick warm up, Allen Kessler opened from the cutoff and Nacho Barbero called from the button. Both players drew two.

Both players checked after the first draw and drew two again. Kessler check-called a bet from Barbero after the second draw.

"F*** why did I do so many" Barbero commented which elicited laughs from around the table. Kessler then drew one while Barbero stood pat.

With no draws remaining both players checked. Barbero tabled 9x8x6x4x2x and Kessler's hand hit the muck.

Cohen Takes Out Kupin

"Just so you know, I used to play this game in the desert for water," Steve Zolotow said as Jonathan Cohen raised on the button. Zolotow called in the small blind, while Aaron Kupin stuck in his last chips from the big blind. Both Cohen and Zolotow called.

Zolotow and Cohen drew two and Kupin took three. Action was checked to the second draw where Zolotow took two, while Cohen and Kupin drew one.

Cohen then bet and Zolotow called. Zolotow and Kupin drew one, while Cohen stood pat. He bet again and Zolotow folded.

Cohen showed 8x6x5x4x2x and Kupin mucked an 8-7 on his way to the exit.

Lopez cehck-called another bet from Ivey after the second draw and drew one while Ivey stood pat.

With no draws remaining Lopez checked, Ivey bet and Lopez mucked.

Before the hand, Keith Lehr accused Chino Rheem of unintentionally marking the cards with the way he was peeling them.

"You're going to get it if you keep f**king with me," Rheem said.

"I'm going to keep f**king with you until I get all your chips," Lehr replied.

"You're not going to get them. I'm out there trying to get my bag and a bracelet," Rheem added.

"You don't have a bracelet?" Jason Mercier asked.

"Hell no. I'm the king of second place. Me and [Eric Wasserson]," Rheem responded.

Rheem then raised in the cutoff and Lehr called. Rheem drew one and Lehr took two.

Rheem then bet and Lehr called. Rheem took one more and Lehr again drew two.

Rheem bet again and Lehr called. Rheem then stood pat, Lehr drew one, and Rheem bet.

"I know you made a seven," Lehr said as he called. Rheem showed him a pair of sevens and Lehr turned over 8x6x4x3x2x to win the pot.

"There, I dumped some chips to you," Rheem said after the hand.

In a blind versus blind battle, James Chen bet on the second draw and Danny Wong called.

Both players drew one and Chen bet again, leaving himself around 5,000 behind. Wong just called.

Chen then showed 8x7x6x4x2x and Wong mucked. "You didn't even need to go all in," tablemate Louis Abronson said as Chen took the pot.

"Go short stacks. Beat up on those guys," Abronson added.
