Ivey Triples Again

Phil Ivey opened from the button and received calls from Jason Mercier in the small blind and Danny Wong in the big blind. All three players drew two.

After the first draw Mercier bet and both Wong and Ivey called. this time all three players drew one.

Mercier checked after the second draw. Wong bet, Ivey called off with his last 80,000 to put himself all in and Mercier called. Mercier drew one while Wong and Ivey stood pat.

With no draws remaining Mercier and Wong both checked. Mercier had bricked and had Qx8x6x3x2x, Wong had 8x7x6x4x3x and Ivey had a better eight-seven with 8x7x5x4x2x to effectively triple up again and remain in contention.
