Buiko Binks River to Bust Beecher and Sidhu

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of 493, Varanpreet Sidhu and Daniel Beecher both moved all in, and Olegs Buiko made the call after some thoughtful consideration, putting them both at risk.

Varanpreet Sidhu: AK43
Daniel Beecher: AA86

Sidhu had the best of it with his two pair, but the runout was brutal as it came 87 to give Buiko the runner-runner nut flush to scoop, eliminating both opponents.

"Remind me not to try and bluff you!" tablemate Travell Thomas joked as Buiko dragged the big pot.

No-Limit Hold'em

PokerNews picked up the hand as the river came out 25693 and Josh Schoonover led for 225,000 and was raised by Daniel Negreanu to 740,000.

Schoonover then responded by moving all in to cover Negreanu, who still had around 120,000 behind.

"Well you have to have a flush...but how big?" Negreanu began talking aloud as he went deep into the tank.

After close to three minutes, he pulled out his vlog camera and made the call, putting himself at risk.

Schoonover then showed him the bad news with A10 for the nut flush as Negreanu himself tabled J6 for a rivered flush as well.

"Yeah, nice hand," he said as he headed to the payout desk and Schoonover raked in the huge pot, catapulting him to the top of the chip counts.
