There will be a 20-minute break every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 16 (about 7:00 p.m. local time).

Starting stacks are 30,000 and players may reenter twice, provided they do so before the end of late registration at completion of Level 12 (approximately 5 p.m. local time).

Day 1 is set to end after Level 22 and Day 2 will resume at 11 a.m. on July 12 with 30-minute blind levels. Day 2 will be the final day, with play continuing until a winner is declared.

Last year's edition of this event went to Scott Dulaney, who beat out a field of 2,758 entries to win his first bracelet and $194,155 of the $1,406,580 prize pool.

“I’m really excited, kinda reeling at the moment,” Dulaney said afterward. “But I knew it was gonna happen and I plan on winning multiple Omaha bracelets this week, this year. I think all the best Omaha players in the world come from Houston and I’m trying to prove it this summer.”

Figueroa Found the Ace

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Players were heads up on a 97Q flop when Ethan Figueroa checked from the small blind into the hijack, who bet around 600 with Figueroa making the call.

The 8 turn saw Figueroa make a 1,200 bet, which was quickly called by the hijack.

The A river completed the board and both players checked.

Figueroa turned over AA9x2x, showing he'd rivered a set of aces. The hijack commented "Two-outer, brutal!" as he mucked his cards.
