Triple-Up Triumph and a Penalty Misstep

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Alexandre Reard initiated the action with a raise to 300,000 from the cutoff, leaving himself just 25,000 behind. Scott Drobes, on the button, went all in for 750,000. Besmir Hodaj, in the big blind, looked at his cards, then at his two opponents, and called. Assuming both players were already all in, he revealed his cards prematurely. However, Reard still had 25,000 left, and the dealer called the floor for clarification. The floor ruled that it was Reard's turn, and he went all in, leading to a showdown.

Alexandre Reard: A5All in
Scott Drobes: AKAll in
Besmir Hodaj: AJ

The board ran out 945Q7, giving Reard a pair of fives and the triple-up. Drobes, with ace-king high, won the side pot from Hodaj.

Hodaj, after losing the hand, was penalized and suspended from the table by the floor manager for one orbit due to prematurely revealing his cards.
