On sixth street, Shack-Harris bet and Abinakle called, shaking his head. Shack-Harris fired again on seventh, which sent Abinakle deep into the tank before shrugging and flicking in the call.

Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.

In the seventh episode, Connor speaks with World Series of Poker (WSOP) commentator Norman Chad, one of the most recognizable voices in poker who has provided color commentary on poker's biggest stage for over 20 years.

Chad talks about getting his start as a sports writer in college, his decades-long syndicated sports humor column for the Washington Post and being asked to commentate on the 2003 WSOP Main Event that sparked the Poker Boom.

Chad also discusses the state of poker broadcasting today, the need for more color commentary in the booth, and the need for more interesting characters on the felt.

At the start of today's action, you'd have thought Peter Brownstein had built a time machine. Brownstein, who placed second in the 1997 WSOP $1,500 Razz event, was just unlucky today to face several bring ins and find himself in this spot.

Brownstein raised before Maxx Coleman three-bet, and Brownstein four-bet, committing the rest of his short stack before Coleman called. The remaining streets were dealt and Coleman made a wheel on seventh street to defeat Brownstein's jack-six for an 11th place finish.

Liberto thought it over for a few moments before committing his final chips.

"Yup, dead," Liberto stated when the cards were revealed, as he needed runner-runner cards to beat Osman's made seven.

He was left drawing dead on sixth street, and Osman's seventh card was never even turned up as Liberto's elimination as the bubble of the unofficial final table of nine was set in stone.
