Ante: 400
Players are chopping it up on a 15-minute break!
The flops in the Pot-Limit Omaha bomb pot were:
5♥J♥6♣
9♥10♥7♣
Bin Duan was in early position and bet pot for 2,400. Two players called, Paul McLalin in middle position and the player on the button.
The turn brought two kings:
5♥J♥6♣K♠
9♥10♥7♣K♥
Duan bet pot again, this time it was 9,600. McLalin called and the button folded.
The dealer dealt out the rivers:
5♥J♥6♣K♠10♠
9♥10♥7♣K♥7♠
Duan now bet all in which was for 8,600 chips. McLalin called.
McLalin showed J♠7♥7♦3♥ for flopped set, turned flush and rivered quads on the bottom board and just a pair of jacks on the top board. Duan showed J♣9♠5♠4♣. He had played two flopped pair on the top board very aggressively, but it ended up being enough for a win due to McLalin‘s weak hand on that boards. On the bottom board, he played J♣9♠ for a flopped pair and gutshot, which turned into two pair on the river. That was no match for McLalin‘s quads and they split the pot.
Action picked up on the eight-way NLH bomb pot.

9♦2♥7♥8♥K♠
8♣9♠2♠J♦5♠
Force lead out for 3,000 and his opponent folded the 10♥ face up. Force showed the J♥ as the dealer pushed him the pot.

No-Limit Hold‘em bomb pots are still somewhat of an exotic thing in poker, so many players are needing some time to get accustomed to this special game. One of the tables just played their first hand of the game today and for at least one of the players at the table, Newt Lam, it was the first time she had ever played such a hand.
Players saw the following two flops:
3♦4♣8♣
5♣2♣4♦
Player in the hijack bet 500. Lam called, as did the player in early position. After the dealer clarified to Lam that betting in Hold’em bomb pots in this tournament is never pot limit, but no-limit on every street, players headed to turn.
The turn cards came:
3♦4♣8♣J♣
5♣2♣4♦3♥
Hijack now checked, and Lam bet 1,500. Early position called and hijack now folded.
The rivers came:
3♦4♣8♣J♣A♠
5♣2♣4♦3♥6♣
Lam got a check from her opponent and then fired 4,000. After some thinking, he folded.
Despite it being her first experience with No-Limit Hold‘em bomb pots, Lam seemed to be getting on just fine, leaving her opponents wondering about her cards and even having one of them ask if she plans to be bluffing them a lot in the future.
