Malec Applying Pressure

Sebastian Malec raised from early position to 60,000 and when it folded to Kavin Shah in the big blind, he made the call.

When the flop came Q86, Shah check-called the 125,000 bet from Malec.

The turn was the 9 and after Shah checked, Malec bet 310,000. After sitting in the tank for over a minute, Shah folded to give Malec the pot.

Friedman Doubles Through Berk

After a limp by Jed Friedman on the button, Michael Berk moved all in from the big blind, sending Friedman into the tank. After over a minute, Friedman made the call, putting his tournament life at risk.

Berk was ahead with his ace-high, but the flop of 9K2 immediately pulled Friedman into the lead with his king and the runout of 94 changed nothing to win him the double.

Kingery Claimed his Throne

Jeremiah Wheeler was under the gun and raised to 60,000, Yunkyu Song was in early position and called. Jared Kingery had other ideas and three-bet for the squeeze play to 225,000.
