Kulev Doesn’t Back Down

Espsen Jorstad raised to 50,000 first-to-act and was three-bet to 150,000 by Alex Kulev in the hijack. Sam Soverel then made it 325,000 to go on the button.

Jorstad let his hand go, but Kulev responded by shoving all in, which got a quick fold from Soverel to send Kulev the pot uncontested.

Kathy Lehne has been eliminated on her second bullet after running into the set of Lewis Spencer.

Lehne held AxKx and moved all in with a short stack after turning a pair of kings, but Spencer had a flopped set with 3x3x before an inconsequential river send the Sun Coast Resources founder to the rail.

Foxen Gets a Fold

Leon Sturm opened to 50,000 from middle position and was called by Alex Foxen in the hijack and Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind.

Vogelsang checked to Sturm on the J4Q flop and he continued for 60,000. Foxen called and Vogelsang let his hand go.

Both players checked on the 6 turn and Sturm checked a final time on the 4 river.

Foxen bet 245,000 and Sturm sent his hand into the muck — conceding the pot to Foxen.

Nick Petrangelo raised to 55,000 from the hijack, Brian Kim three-bet to 165,000 from the cutoff and Masashi Oya could four-bet to 395,000, from the big blind.

Petrangelo folded and the action was back on Kim. Kim went into the tank before five-bet jamming for Oya's effective stack of 1,290,000. Oya snap-folded.
