Suvarna Wins Three-Way Pot

Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 80,000 off a short stack and was called by Charles Hook on the button, Santhosh Suvarna also came along from the big blind as well.

Following the 863 flop, Suvarna checked and Ponakovs bet 125,000 for both of his opponents to call. Suvarna then led the 4 turn for 160,000 to earn two calls and they checked the 10 river. Suvarna showed the J8 for a pair of eights and won the pot.

Saliba Triples Up; Kornuth Wins the Side Pot

Chance Kornuth raised it up to 85,000 and Justin Saliba pushed all in for 315,000 in the cutoff. Seth Davies called in the big blind, as did Kornuth. On the 953 flop, Davies check-called for 150,000 and did so again for 330,000 on the Q turn.

The 10 river was checked and Saliba showed the AQ for the top pair, top kicker. Davies had the 77 for a pair of sevens and Kornuth won the side pot with K10.

Spencer Drops Two Pots

Lewis Spencer opened to 80,000 from early position and was called by Brandon Wilson and Christoph Vogelsang from the cutoff and big blind.

The A109 flop checked through to the 6 turn, where action checked to Wilson. He bet 200,000 and Spencer was the only caller.

The 5 river then checked through to showdown.

Spencer tabled JJ but was bested by Wilson's A7.

The following hand, Spencer raised to 80,000 and then folded when Ben Heath three-bet to 240,000 from the small blind.

Petrangelo Doubles Through Kenney

Having defended the big blind against a raise by Bryn Kenney, Nick Petrangelo then got his shorter stack into the middle following a flop of 1043. Petrangelo was at risk for 850,000 with the 108 and trailed the K10 of Kenney.

The tides changed on the 8 turn on which Petrangelo improved to two pair. Nothing changed with the J river and Petrangelo doubled for 850,000.

Hunichen Piles on the Pressure

Isaac Haxton raised to 90,000 from the hijack, receiving calls from Brian Rast on the button and Chris Hunichen, in the big blind.

The action checked to Rast, who bet out 165,000 on the 96Q flop. Hunichen check-raised to 465,000 and Haxton got out of the way. Rast called.

The 10 river saw Hunichen move all in, putting Rast to the test for his stack of approximately 1,100,000. Rast was forced to make a quick fold.

Sturm Gets Some Chips Back

Picking up the action on the J855 turn, Leon Sturm bet 85,000 out of the blinds and Matthias Eibinger called. When the 7 appeared on the river, Sturm's shot clock ran down to almost zero before he made it 120,000 to go. No call by Eibinger followed and the pot was sent to Sturm.

Danny Tang raised to 85,000 from the cutoff, Brandon Wilson three-bet to 375,000 from the big blind and Tang called.

Both players slowly checked to the river as the full board now read JQ87J. Wilson placed a very delayed continuation bet of 350,000 and Tang put in a raise to 885,000; a considerable portion of Wilson's remaining stack.

Wilson used a total of five time banks across the whole hand before finally throwing his cards into the muck.

Gottlieb Picks Up Aces

[Removed:564] opened to 85,000 from the cutoff before Seth Gottlieb three-bet to 225,000 from the small blind. Jonathan Jaffe was in the big blind and jammed as the covering stack. [Removed:565] quickly folded while Gottlieb committed his stack of 1,520,000.
