On a flop of 4♣6♠8♥, Ian Matakis checked to Darius Samual, who bet 5,000 on the button. Matakis then check-raised to 21,000 and Samual called.

Samual called a 16,000 bet from Matakis after the 5♠ brought a four-liner on board and then both players checked down on the 6♥ river.

Matakis showed 5♣2♣ for sixes and fives and Samual tabled 10♠10♦ for a better two pair to take down the pot.

With 10,000 in the pot on a flop of 10♠3♣2♥, Joseph Miller check-called a bet of 3,000 from Chance Kornuth.

Both players checked the 8♠ turn, and the river brought the Q♠, completing backdoor straight and flush draws.

Miller led out for 16,000 and Kornuth folded. Miller pulled in the small pot to expand his lead in the second round.

Kennedy Picks Up Aces to Down Masato

Patrick Kennedy opened to 6,000 from the button before Masato Yokosawa three-bet to 26,000. Kennedy quickly popped it to 50,000 and Yokosawa called.

Yokosawa check-called for 25,000 on the Q♠7♠6♥ flop, leaving him with around 118,000.

On the 5♥ turn, Yokosawa checked and Kennedy jammed as the bigger stack.

Yokosawa insinuated that this was a hand he wouldn't be able to get away from.

He wiped the sweat off of his brow as he used up two time banks before calling.

"Good luck," said Kennedy but his well wishes provided no help to Yokosawa who exited after the 2♠ river.

The pair exchanged a handshake and showed good sportsmanship after the match-up concluded.

Soverel Claws Back to Even

Sam Soverel raised on the button and was faced with a three-bet to 26,000 from Alex Keating. Soverel elected to four-bet to 52,000 and Keating called.

On the 6♣5♦K♥ flop, Keating check-called for 20,000 and both players headed to the turn which landed the 9♦.

Keating check-called again, this time for 45,000. A large pot was brewing as the dealer flipped over the J♠ river.

Keating checked once more, and Soverel counted out his remaining chips before announcing all in for roughly 115,000. Keating found the fold and Soverel dragged in the big pot, propelling him back to even in the match.

Mizumoto called for 14,000 on the Q♥J♠9♠ flop before the A♠ turn and 6♠ river checked through to showdown.

Tollerene tabled 9♣5♣ for a pair of nines but was bested by Mizumoto's A♥J♣, which was good for aces and jacks.

Miller Takes out Kornuth

Joseph Miller was seen standing up, having just eliminated Chance Kornuth.

Miller informed PokerNews that he limped on the button with pocket kings and Kornuth checked his option.

The flop came Qx6x5x and Kornuth check-called a 4,000 bet from Miller.

Kornuth checked again on a Kx turn and Miller continued for 6,000. Kornuth then check-raised to 22,000 and Miller raised enough to put Kornuth all-in for his last 20,000.

Kornuth called with 6x3x and the 4x came on ther river, leaving Miller best with his set of kings.
