Owen Messere opened to 32,000 from the button and Faraz Jaka defended his big blind to the A♣2♠6♠ flop. Jaka check-called for 20,000 before the A♥ turn checked through to the Q♦ river.
Jaka led out for 125,000 and another loud sigh came out of Messere's mouth.
"Call," said the Englishman.
Jaka tabled A♠7♠ for trip aces and an exasperated Messere mucked his hand.

John Smith and Darius Samual seem content to joust in mostly small pots, with many of them failing to grow larger than several big blinds.
Smith was recently able to win a couple of pots back-to-back to assume the chip lead.
In the first hand, Smith limped on the button and Samual checked his option in the big blind. Action then checked down on the 3♣8♦J♦ flop and 5♣ turn. Samual led out for 15,000 on the Q♠ river and Smith called.
Samual tabled Q♦2♠ for a pair of queens and Smith turned over Q♥9♣ for the same pair with a superior kicker to take down the pot.
On the very next hand, Samual raised to 40,000 on the button and Smith called.
Smith check-called a 31,000 bet from Samual on the 4♣9♦Q♦ flop and then both players checked down on the 6♦ turn and 4♠ river.
Smith turned over A♣10♣ and Samual mucked — conceding the pot to Smith.

Marko Grujic raised on the button to 32,000 and Nikolai Mamut called. The flop revealed three deuces, 2♠2♥2♦ and Mamut check-called a bet of 16,000.
On the A♥ turn, Mamut checked again and Grujic sized up for a bet of 80,000. Mamut raised to 160,000 and Grujic called.
The river brought the 4♥ and Mamut checked. Grujic thought for a moment before firing out a large bet of 850,000. Mamut folded and Grujic reclaimed a slight chip lead.

Faraz Jaka limped in from the button and called when Owen Messere jammed for around 335,000 from the big blind.
Owen Messere: 2♣2♠
Faraz Jaka: A♥4♥
It was a flip and one that Messere was winning after the 10♦3♦6♥ flop. The 10♥ turn brought in flush and counterfeit outs for Jaka, adding tension ahead of the final card.
The K♥ river completed Jaka's flush and the WSOP bracelet winner became the second player to advance to tomorrow's final day.
