Marko Grujic: K7All in
Nikolai Mamut: A8

Mamut paired up on the J85 flop to leave Grujic drawing to three outs. The 4 turn and Q offered the Serbian no saving grace, and he departed the Heads-Up Championship in 6th place.

Mamut will face Faraz Jaka in the semi-final.

The final match-up remaining is John Smith vs. Darius Samual. This is the third time in four rounds that Smith's duel has gone on the longest.

Samual Ups the Aggression to Get Back in the Match

Level 44 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

After John Smith called the 25,000 blind from the button, Daruis Samual checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came K32, both players checked.

The turn was the 7 and Smith lead out for 25,000, before being raised to 75,000 by Samual. Smith elected to call and see a river.

The board was completed with the 5, Smith checked it over to Samual who bet out 150,000. After giving it some thought, Smith made the call, and was shown K2 for two pair, which was enough to win the pot.

Just two hands later, Smith once again limped from the button, and Samual raised it up to 75,000, which Smith called.

The flop ran out K94, which Samual then fired out 130,000. After taking majority of the shot clock, Smith did make the call.

The turn was the A, and Samual went for it all, declaring all in. Smith made little fuss about the decision by folding, and gave the pot to Samual.
