Obara Wins Another Flip Against Cimbolas

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jun Obara
Jun Obara

After just flipping with each other, Matas Cimbolas and Jun Obara got into another preflop confrontation which ended with them both committing their stacks to the pot.

Jun Obara: AK All in
Matas Cimbolas: QQ

Obara was the player at risk with his stack of 125,000 and took the lead on the 3K2 flop after he paired his king. Cimbolas would need to find a two-outer, just as Obara did a while ago, if he wanted to eliminate the Japanese player. However, lightning didn't strike twice as the 3 turn and 8 river kept the Big Slick of Obara in the lead.

Boi Delivers a Double Elimination

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Paolo Boi raised under the gun to 13,000 and Daniel De Almeida shoved from the button for 57,000. Aristeidis Moschonas called out of the small blind, then Boi shoved all in. Moschonas had around 175,000 chips total and made the call.

Daniel De Almeida: A10 All in
Aristeidis Moschonas: QQ All in
Paolo Boi: JJ

Moschonas was the favorite to more than double up but the odds flipped in Boi's favor as the 8KJ flop improved him to middle set. Almeida had a gutshot but he was drawing dead by the time the 8 turn had been revealed as Boi improved to a full house.

Only a queen on the river could save Moschonas but the 4 wasn't what he needed which meant Boi took the pot and delivered a double elimination.
