Patni Gets a Double After Dinner

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Kunal Patni opened to 900,000 under the gun, leaving himself just 105,000 chips behind. Alexander Tkatschew was the only player to make the call.

On the 1067 flop, Patni checked, Tkatschew bet, and Patni called off his last 105,000.

Kunal Patni: AK All in
Alexander Tkatschew: AQ

Patni's hand held up as neither the 8 turn nor 4 river helped Tkatschew.

Foggin's Sevens Hold to Send Out Politano

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

All of the chips went in the middle before the flop and Bruno Politano was at risk for his last 960,000 against Marc Foggin.

Bruno Politano: A4 All in
Marc Foggin: 77

The QJ610 turn gave Politano a gutshot straight draw to go along with his over card but the 3 river was no help, sending him out of the tournament.

Klodnicki Flops Trips

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Chris Klodnicki opened 170,000 in early position and both Thomas Clack from a couple of spots to his left and Stoyan Madanzhiev in the big blind made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of 10105 and the action checked to Clack who fired 180,000 across the line. Only Klodnicki stuck around with a call.

When the 8 fell on the turn, Klodnicki check-called another bet, this time for 480,000.

The dealer dropped the 3 on the river and Klodnicki checked for a final time. Clack thought about it for about 10 seconds before deciding to tap the table as well.

Klodnicki rolled over A10 for trip tens on the flop and Clack mucked his hand.
