The river was the J♣ and Varrasso quickly bet 3,700,000. Ashdown eventually called.
Varrasso showed K♠8♥ for king-high with Ashdown taking down the pot and the chip lead with 3♣3♦
"Should have made it a bit more, huh?" said Varrasso as Ashdown stacked his newly-acquired chips.
Luke Varrasso raised to 1,700,000 from the button and Hector Berry three-bet to 8,000,000 from the small blind. Branden Shimamoto made the call in the big blind while Varrasso folded.
The flop came 8♥J♠K♦, Berry pushed his last 6,000,000 over the line for Shimamoto to make the call really quickly.

Berry had flopped top pair and was up against Shimamoto's pocket pair of queens.
The turn was the 3♠, which didn't change things, and neither did the 3♣ on the river as Berry doubled up.

Berry continued for 3,800,000 on the J♠7♣6♦ flop and Ashdown called. Berry checked the 9♠ turn and folded to a bet of 4,500,000 from Ashdown.

The flop came 6♥5♣9♦ and both players checked. They also checked the K♥ turn and Varrasso bet 2,500,000 on the 10♣ river. Shimamoto called and Varrasso won the pot with K♦6♣ for two pair.
Hector Berry limped and called a raise from Branden Shimamoto to 2,800,000.
The flop came A♣7♦2♠ and Berry checked. Shimamoto continued for 1,100,000 but folded when Berry check-raised to 4,600,000.
A few hands later, Harrison Ashdown opened to 1,600,000 and Berry defended his big blind.
However, Berry check-folded to a continuation bet from Ashdown on the 10♦4♦2♥ flop.
Darryll Fish was all in from the small blind for around 5,000,000 against Branden Shimamoto.
