Rollercoaster Ride for Williams
Level 22
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Action picked up with Anthony Pathman all in from middle position and called by Kevin Williams in the small blind.
Anthony Pathman: K♠Q♦
Kevin Williams: 8♥8♦
The board ran out 10♣7♦J♠Q♣4♥ and Williams took a massive hit to his stack. That was until the very next hand when Williams was all in from button and called by Jay Patel in late position who had a shorter stack.
Jay Patel: A♥10♣
Kevin Williams: A♦J♣
The flop was an emotional rollercoaster. The 10♣ in the window elicited a reaction from the table. However the rest of the K♣Q♦ flop put Williams in the lead with a straight. The 9♦ turn and 2♦ river were no help to Patel and he was eliminated. Williams
