Martelli and Lisman Chop Up Nguyen

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Duc Nguyen moved all in from under the gun for his last 90,000.

Angelo Martelli raised to 250,000 and got calls from Raymond Henson and Michael Lisman.

The flop came 754 and all three players checked. The turn was the 6 and Lisman bet 400,000 out of the big blind and Martelli was the only caller.

The pair checked the A river. Lisman tabled 83 for an eight-high street, and was matched by the A8 of Martelli.

"Two pair!" said Nguyen excitably, tabling A6 but it wasn't enough and he was eliminated.

Branden Shimamoto
Branden Shimamoto

Daniel Eichhorn raised to 235,000 from under the gun and Branden Shimamoto made the call from middle position. Maxim Kogay then three-bet to 750,000 and Eichhorn went all in for 2,350,000. Shimamoto went deep into the tank and asked for a count. After counting out the call and assessing, Shiimamoto then went all-in and Kogay folded 1010 face up.

Daniel Eichhorn: JJAll in
Branden Shimamoto: AA

The merciless flop came out AJQ and people joked that Kogay might've folded the best hand. The 8 turn and 3 river confirmed that Kogay would not have won and Eichhorn was sent to the rail.
