Some Post-Draw Pots

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 900 ante

In a 15,000 pot, Billy Baxter checked from the big blind and his opponent in the cutoff checked back. Baxter tabled 9x7x6x5x3x for the winning hand and chipped back up.

On another table, Jen Harman had bet 4,500 into a pot of 4,000 after the draw and was min-raised by her opponent to 9,000.

Harman considered her options for a while, eyeing her opponent's stack and grabbing some big chips, but ultimately just called and tabled 8x6x5x3x2x for the winner, getting her to a six-figure stack.

On yet another table, Ryan Depaulo faced a bet of 3,000 chips and paid it off, only to muck his hand when his opponent tabled a nine-low.

On an adjacent table, Nick Guagenti jammed all in for 9,500, in a pot of 12,000 chips against Jon Shoreman. Shoreman thought it over for a while but eventually called with a ten-low.

Guagenti tabled 8x6x4x3x2x for the winning hand and doubled up.

Leonard looked at his card and tossed it over to Anderson face-down.

"I already saw a picture," Anderson stated as he turned over a Qx.

"I was trying to fake slowroll him," Leonard explained as he took his leave.

Meanwhile, Adam Owen had taken his seat at this table, having won a few chips since reentering.

After a few limps, Michael Rocco made it 5,800 to go in the small blind. The player under the gun called, as did Chance Kornuth on the button. Rocco stood pat, the under-the-gun player took one card, and Kornuth took two.

"This f*cking guy," Rocco said as he pointed to Kornuth. He then threw in a small bet of 2,500, after which the player under the gun jammed all in for 15,200.

Kornuth spent some time thinking over the situation before calling.

"Is this even real?" Rocco asked himself aloud before adding his cards to the muck.

The player under the gun showed 9x5x4x3x2x for the best nine, but Kornuth had better with 8x5x4x3x2x for a perfect eight.

"Is an eight-five a good hand?" Kornuth asked the table after the eliminated player had left.
