Brilliant Play or Reckless Decision?

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,800 ante

A player on the button raised to 2,700 and William Elliot three-bet to 8,000 from the small blind. The player on the button then jammed for 15,400 and Elliot called.

Elliot stood pat which perplexed the button who now had a decision over whether or not to break his 10x9x6x4x2x. He eventually drew one as he tossed the 10 face up into the middle.

Elliot revealed KxJx9x6x5x for a king-jack low and was able to get his opponent to break a far superior hand. The button peeled the 2 to make a pair of twos and could only laugh as he exited the tournament area.
