Ayers Takes Out Lo

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Allen Ayers was in a middle position and moved all in for just over 2,000,000 and action folded to Wai Kit Lo in the cutoff.

Lo took some time and checked his cards a couple of times before making the call.

Wai Kit Lo: JQAll in
Allen Ayers: AQ

Ayers was looking strong, and the A27 flop only improved him further.

The 9 and A runout sealed Lo's fate and he was eliminated from the tournament with around 45 players remaining.

Seven Deuce Never Lose

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Justin Grider, with only 625,000 left, went all in from under the gun. Everyone folded to Sean Pitzer in the big blind, who decided to call without looking at his cards. At showdown, Grider revealed K9, while Pitzer showed the worst possible starting hand in Hold'em poker: 72.

There's a saying every poker player knows: "Seven Deuce never lose," and this time, it held true. The dealer revealed the flop: 7K2, giving Pitzer two pair. Though Grider hit a king, the turn 8 provided no help. The river then brought the 7, giving Pitzer a full house and sending Grider to the rail.

When the action folded to James Simmons in the small blind, he announced all in for roughly 1,600,000. His opponent in the big blind looked at his cards and then made the call to put Simmons at risk.

James Simmons: A5 All in

Madar Claws it Back

Level 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Steven Ceresa raised in the hijack and Kevin Madar jammed from the small blind. Ceresa made the call and the players flipped their cards.

Steven Ceresa: AAAll in
Kevin Madar: AK

Both players missed the 95787 runout, and Madar thought he was eliminated from the tournament. The table called him back as the dealer placed just 225,000 back in his seat after the hand.

A few hands later, Madar was all in with 84 and won a double on a 9xKx6x8xJx runout.

Madar moved in again with 810 and was called by Sean Pitzer on the button, who had QK. Madar got lucky and picked up straight on the 7549J board, to give him another double and keep him in the tournament.
