Escudero's Ace Jack Triumph

Level 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Alvaro Escudero initiated the action from middle position with a raise to 525,000. Joon Kim responded with a three-bet to 2,250,000, leaving himself with just 25,000 behind. Escudero, assuming it was effectively an all-in, called but didn't reveal his cards.

After clarification, the dealer turned the flop 5A8. Escudero, first to act, went all in, and Kim made the call.

Joon Kim: AKAll in
Alvaro Escudero: AJ

Escudero hit the J on the turn, and the Q on the river didn't change the outcome, sending Kim packing.

Lucas Spins it Up

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

After being left with a single big blind at the start of the orbit, Gautier Lucas was all in once again for his tournament life, this time for six big blinds against Hanibael Saneh who covered.

Gautier Lucas: A2All in
Hanibael Saneh: AK

Lucas was in bad shape with his dominated hand, but fortune was on his side as the flop came out 928 to give him the lead with a pair od deuces. The runout of 3J changed nothing and he was awarded the pot for yet another double up.
