Magott Gets Maximum Value

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Picking up the action on the river, Krzysztof Magott from under the gun was involved in a hand with Nikita Kuznetsov in the big blind.

With the board reading 646A9 Kuznetsov bet 55,000. Magott responded by moving all in for 125,500. That sent Kuznetsov deep into the tank as he appeared to be considering laying down a big hand. Eventually, the clock was called on Kuznetsov but before the floor person even reached the table, he made the call. "You got aces?" he asked and was indeed shown the bad news by Magott, who tabled AA92 for the turned boat to scoop a full double.

At another table, Phil Hellmuth was seen taking his seat.

Nguyen Has Dream Start

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The action was caught on a turn of 2J84, where Manh Nguyen's stack of 100,500 flew in with a pot already amounting to 80,000 chips. Mark Ioli had looked him up with the covering stack and the cards were tabled.

Mark Ioli: AAQ3

Nguyen had to fade an ace or five to double up, and he did so when the river paired the board with the 4 to give him a full house as he ended up with nearly five starting stacks after registering late.
