Dudani Busts Benson

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Shiva Dudani raised from the hijack and William Benson three-bet most of his chips in from the button. Dudani called and put his opponent all in on the subsequent Q48 flop.

Benson called it off for his tournament life as the players showed down.

William Benson: AKJ4 All in
Shiva Dudani: AQ102

Dudani made a pair of queens on the flop, and that remained the best hand as the 3 turn and 6 river could not help Benson.

Suvarna Gets a Fold

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Santhosh Suvarna made a bet of 27,000 from the big blind on a flop of 2910. His opponent called in the hijack, after which both checked the 8 turn.

Apicella Among the Big Stacks in the Field

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With around 175 players remaining, the field is now entirely in the Silver section. One of the bigger stacks in the field is Austin Apicella, who has steadily increased his stack throughout the day thus far.

Fresh off winning a pot, he made it 13,000 to go on the button and called a pot-sized three-bet by Sean Rafael in the big blind. Rafael then potted for 88,000 on the 1073 flop and Apicella folded. He still has more than three times as many chips as Rafael, though.

Pavel Left With His Thoughts

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Radu Pavel opened to 15,000 from under the gun and Firas Kashat called in the cutoff but only after informing Pavel he was doing so to either "help you win this tournament or send you home with something to think about".

As it turned out, neither happened with Pavel check-folding to a bet of 24,000 on the J24 flop to put a small dent in his stack.

Arieh and Chen Chip Up Without Showdown

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Xixiang Luo raised to 15,000 from under the gun and called a pot-sized three-bet to 48,000 by James Chen from one seat over. On the K66 flop, Luo checked and then folded when Chen made it 30,000 to go.

At the same time one table over, the completed board showed AQ335. Josh Arieh was all-in for 149,000 and Dante Goya went deep into the tank before he folded.

Zolotow Sigh-Calls a Double-Up

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jonathan Bowers put Steve Zolotow all in for his final 24,000 chips, roughly the same size of the pot, on a flop of 776. Zolotow mulled it over for a bit before reluctantly calling off for his tournament life.

Steve Zolotow: JJ54 All in
Jonathan Bowers: K986

The 8 gave Zolotow a straight, and the 2 did not make Bowers a better hand, doubling up his opponent.
