The flop came 5♦4♠Q♣ and both players were quick to check.

While the turn peeled off the A♠, Park fired for 1,250,000. Shaw found the call.

The river was the 10♠ and Park moved all in for around 4,000,000. Shaw went into the tank but made the fold.

The flop came J♦8♣A♦ and Bajaj checked to Stankov. He continued for 350,000 and received a call from Bajaj.

While the turn peeled the K♦, Bajaj checked. Stankov fired for 800,000 and received a call.

The river was the 3♥ and Bajaj fired for 2,000,000. Stankov was quick to fold.

Robinson Puts Max Pressure on Stankov

Vitalijs Zavorotnijs raised to 400,000 from under the gun, Ivan Stankov called in middle position, and Colin Robinson called from the big blind. The flop was 10♦9♦7♣ and Robinson and Zavorotnijs checked. Stankov bet 400,000, Robinson called, and Zavorotnijs folded.

The Q♥ on the turn brought the fireworks. Robinson checked, Stankov bet 1,400,000, and Robinson responded with a big check-raise all in. It was effectively for Stankov's remaining stack of nearly 6,000,000.

The usually very stoic Stankov seemed taken aback by the shove, and his expressionless face changed. He agonized over his decision for the better part of five minutes but ultimately decided to go with the fold.

Akshat Bajaj raised to 525,000 in middle position and Carl Shaw defended the big blind. Both players checked the 9♣6♣6♥ flop. Shaw bet 650,000 on the Q♠ turn and Bajaj called.

The river was the 8♦ and Shaw checked. Bajaj bet 2,100,000 and Shaw went in the tank. For the first time today, he removed his sunglasses to intensely study the board and his opponent.

After several minutes, he flicked in the calling chips, only to be shown the bad news by Bajaj, who had J♥10♥ for a runner-runner straight.
