Reiter Takes a Chunk From Akkari
Level 28
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Andre Akkari raised from middle position and John Reiter called on the button. Akkari bet 175,000 on the 8♦5♥3♠ flop and Reiter called. Akkari checked the 7♦ on the turn, Reiter bet 550,000, and Akkari called.
The river was the 3♥, and Akkari checked again. Reiter bet 1,375,000, and after three minutes, Akkari flicked in a calling chip.
"Queens," Reiter said, as he tabled Q♦Q♥. Akkari mucked and dropped below twenty big blinds.
