Rodrigues Calls Down Barbero

Nacho Barbero opened to 700 from the hijack and Michael Rodrigues defended from the big blind, drawing three while Barbero opted to draw one.

After the draw Rodrigues checked, Barbero bet 1,500 and Rodrigues called.

"Straight" Barbero joked, before tabling 98764 for a missed straight draw. Rodrigues tabled JJQ83 for a pair of jacks to take the pot.

The flop came A85. The small blind bet, Glaser raised to two bets, Friedman called and the small blind called.

All three players checked the 10 turn leading to the 4 river. The small blind checked, Glaser bet, Friedman folded and the small blind called.

Glaser tabled AK76 for a straight to take the pot.

Doug Polk's Team Purchases What Will Become the Largest Poker Room in Texas

Earlier this month, thanks to an unfavorable city vote, Doug Polk was unsuccessful in his bid to open a massive poker room in a town near Dallas. But his team of investors, including poker vloggers Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen, are back and ready to take over what will soon become the largest card room in Texas.

Polk, who is playing in the Hustler Casino Live Million Dollar Game this week, announced during Wednesday's HCL stream that his team has purchased Rounders Card Club in San Antonio. The group already owns The Lodge Card Club in Round Rock, a suburb of Austin, and that room is currently the biggest in the Lone Star State with over 70 poker tables.

Harris bet fourth street and received a call from one of his opponents while the other opponent folded after pairing his ace. On fifth street Harris bet once more and was called by his one remaining opponent.

On sixth street Harris bet again and this time it was enough to force a fold from his last opponent and take the pot.

Both players drew two and Blom check-called a bet of 300 from Harmetz.

Both drew two again and Blom check-called a bet of 600.

On the last draw, each player drew one and the action went check-check.

Harmetz revealed J5543 for a jack-badugi and a pair of fives which, surprisingly, was good enough to scoop the pot as Blom flashed 7x7x.
