Are we witnessing the greatest World Series of Poker (WSOP) ever?
No hyperbole, that's a genuine question. On Sunday, Scott Seiver won his third bracelet of the summer making him a lock to win the 2024 WSOP Player of the Year award. Or, so you'd think. But the latter part of that sentence couldn't be further from the truth.
Yuval Bronshtein: XxXx/K♣10♣3♠6♦/Xx
Joao Vieira: XxXx/A♥7♣7♠3♦/Xx
Yuval Bronshtein bet on fourth street and Joao Vieira called.
Vieira then bet on fifth and Bronshtein called. Vieira bet again on sixth and Bronshtein called once more.
Vieira put out a bet on seventh, but this time Bronshtein raised. Vieira snap-folded and Bronshtein took the pot.
"Kings full," Bronshtein told Vieira.

Nick Schulman: 6♠4♥4♠9♠J♠10♥Xx
Jane Hitchcock: 2♣K♥2♦K♦K♣K♠5♦
Jerry Wong: A♣7♠6♥A♥J♠5♥8♦
Nick Schulman was all in from fourth street and Jane Hitchcock on fifth street. The cards were dealt out and Hitchcock made quad kings to take the high, while Jerry Wong took the low with an 8-7, and Schulman could not connect on either end to make his stay in the event a very short one.

David Lin: XxXx/J♥8♠Q♣Q♦/Xx
Phil Hellmuth: XxXx/7♣6♥5♦3♥/Xx
PJ Cha: XxXx/2♥7♦ - folded on fourth street
Three-handed on fourth street, Phil Hellmuth bet and David Lin raised. PJ Cha got out of the way, while Hellmuth called to fifth.
Both players then checked on fifth and sixth. Seventh was again checked down and Lin showed A♣8♦6♠ for queens and eights.
"That's a tough hand to beat," Hellmuth said as he mucked, dropping more than a third of his stack just a few minutes after taking his seat.

Arthur Morris: XxXx/7♠3♣A♦4♥/Xx
Richard Sklar: XxXx/J♦6♦Q♠K♠/Xx
Chris Vitch: XxXx/9♠9♣A♣A♠/Xx
"I just want to see how warm the water is," Arthur Morris said as he bet on fourth street.
"You're going to be raising again in a minute," tablemate Richard Sklar told him. Chris Vitch raised, Sklar reraised, and Morris called. Vitch raised again and Sklar capped it. Both opponents called.
Morris then attempted to bet on fifth but put in too much. "My friend doesn't know what the limits are. This is his first time on Day 2. He doesn't usually play this big," Robert Mizrachi joked.
Vitch then raised, Sklar called, and Morris called all in. "I'm a phenomenal stud player," Morris said.
"This is the best hand I've seen you play all day," Mizrachi added.
Sklar bet on sixth and Vitch called to create a side pot. Both players checked on seventh.
Sklar showed 10♦9♦ for a straight, Vitch mucked, and Morris turned over 6♥3♥2♠ for a low as he chopped the pot.
"Please don't break. This is playing like a $1K Stud tournament, but it's not," Mizrachi said after the hand.
