Do You Believe in Miracles

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Do you believe in miracles?

Richard Ali of Team Ali does and here's why. Joshua Hopkins of Team Hopkins raised to 32,000 from early position, Ali then went all in and was at risk from middle position.

Action folded back around to Hopkins who went into the tank, as Hopkins was thinking Ali started talking to him, "If you double me up I want your hat." He then commented, "I'm the most fun player at the table: just let me win this one." Then Ali changed his mind and said "ok fine just call me." Hopkins then made the call.

Richard Ali: AA All in
Joshua Hopkins: AQ

The dealer fanned a 4QJ flop giving Team Hopkins a chance. The turn was the icey Q, having Team Ali drawing to one single out on the river.

The table erupted in shock when the dealer placed the miracle A on the river, keeping Team Ali's chances for a bracelet alive. Ali commented that the river card was sweet justice.

The turn was the 4, The big blind checked, Trayner bet 125,000 and the big blind called.

The river was the 10, the big blind checked for a third time. Trayner decided to wager 550,000, after some thought the big blind made the call only to be shown 44. Quad fours was the winning hand for Team Hall and perhaps four is there lucky number in Event #75.

Castaignon’s Aces Takes Down Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Aaron Thomas raised in early position to 32,000, and then a player two seats over three-bet to 90,000.

As if that wasn’t enough action, Remi Castaignon, Gaetan Balleur's tag-team partner, four-bet all in out of the small blind for his remaining 320,000.

Thomas had a decision and he elected to call. The player who three-bet the action went in the tank, and then looked at Thomas and Castaignon before folding QxQx face up to the stunned looks of the table.

Thomas’ call put Team Balleur at risk.

Remi Castaignon: AA All in
Aaron Thomas: JJ

The dealer fanned K4K on the flop, keeping Castaignon in the lead. The 8 on the turn and 2 on the river sealed the hand for Castaignon and his team.
