In a three-bet pot between Rep Porter on the button and Joao Simao in the big blind, the flop came down 8♦6♠3♥. Simao quickly slid in a pot-sized bet; Porter gave it some thought before calling it off with a shrug.

The 6♦ turn and 5♦ river didn't bring Porter the help he needed and he was eliminated in 21st place.
Naoya Kihara opened 175,000 under the gun, and Naoya Kihara called in the small blind.
The J♠7♣3♠ flop hit the felt, and Sadhu announced a pot-sized bet of 450,000. Kihara thought about it for about two minutes before making the call.
When the 4♣ rolled off on the river, Sadhu continued the aggression, announcing 'pot' once again. Kihara had 630,000 remaining and thought about it for some time before making the call.

Kihara was behind to the two pair of Sadhu but the K♠ river gave him a set of kings to claim the pot.
Rostyslav Sabishchenko, Brian Rast, and Stephen Hubbard all limped before Joao Simao raised to 145,000 from the small blind. Sabishchenko, and Rast called, but Hubbard jammed his last 250,000, and Simao instantly announced 'pot', raising to 1,095,000. Sabishchenko and Rast got out of the way and both hands were tabled.
"I have nothing," Said Hubbard as he tossed his cards on their backs.

Hubbards 'nothing' quickly changed to something as he hit a set on the 10♦7♠6♠ flop. The 8♣ turn, and 10♠ river improved him to a full house as he raked in the pot.
Thomas Gabriel raised to 120,000 from middle position, Jason Berilgen called on the button, and Farid Jattin called in the big blind. On the Q♣5♥4♠ flop, Jattin checked, Gabriel bet pot, Berilgen called, and Jattin folded.
Gabriel only had a few more chips behind which quickly went in on the 4♥ turn.

The river was the 3♣ for Berilgen to river the higher straight and eliminate Gabriel.
A short-stacked Trevor Hebert lost his final chips against Zachary Schwartz to leave the field with 22 players.
Anthony Zinno opened 80,000 in the cutoff, and Alon Yehudai called on the button before Jason Berilgen three-bet 360,000 from the small blind. Zinno tanked for about 30 seconds before letting it go, and Yehudai called off his stack of about 200,000.

The K♣9♣3♣ flop was an action one, giving Yehudai a set of kings but Berilgen was still ahead with the nut flush. Yehudai couldn't pair the board as the 4♦ landed on the turn, and the Q♥ on the river.
The J♣6♠4♠ flop was on the felt with about 900,000 in the middle, and Yang Wang announced all-in for 750,000. Paul Radcliffe was the only other player in the hand and he quickly made the call.

Radcliffe out-flopped the aces of Wang, and was able to keep the lead as the 2♣ hit the turn, and the 9♠ landed on the river.
Chance Kornuth was all-in before the flop for about 300,000 against Paul Radcliffe, and both hands were on their backs.
