Sagle Gets River Value From Latinois To Take Lead
Level 36
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Malo Latinois raised to 2,800,000 in the small blind and Jason Sagle defended the big blind.
The flop came A♠8♥5♦ and Latinois continued for 1,600,000. Sagle called as they headed to the 7♥ on the turn, which was checked through.
Latinois then checked the 4♣ on the river and Sagle bet 2,500,000. Latinois called with 10♥8♠ for a pair of eights, but Sagle had A♦Q♥ for a pair of aces to take the pot and surpass Latinois atop the leaderboard.
